Holy Week

 

Holy Week begins with Palm Sunday and the blessing of the palms and procession into Church as a joyous celebration begins the liturgy. With the reading of  Christ’s Passion from the Gospel of Mark, we turn our focus to Christ’s suffering and death — His supreme act of love that saved all mankind.  Holy Week culminates with the Triduum–the solemn liturgies of Holy Thursday, Good Friday and the Easter Vigil.

Mass of the Lord’s Supper (no washing of the feet)

Good Friday Service—April 2—3:00 pm

Scripture is proclaimed, followed by solemn intercessions, and Holy Communion

Easter Vigil—April 3 — 8:00 pm (No 4 pm Mass)

The new fire is lit, the stories of our salvation

proclaimed, new Catholics are received

into the Church, we share in Holy Communion

Easter Sunday—April 4—Masses at 8:00 and 10:30 am

8 am live streamed on Facebook and on website by noon
