Moments for Moms Ministry was originally created for mothers to meet and support one another. Today, this ministry provides all women with many opportunities to attend social
and spiritual events. Women parishioners are invited to join us at our monthly meetings every second Thursday evening from October through May. We also hold an annual baby shower for all women who have
had or are expecting to have a child in the current year. All women are asked to come out each October and support these new moms and their children with offers of wisdom and helpful items. We also have
a play group for parents, grandparents or caregivers and the kids to gather together and have fun. And, we hold an annual Women's Day Retreat each year in April. Throughout the year we also have a few
fundraisers such as a Quarter Auction, a yard sale and other events to provide speakers and needed items for our parish, such as changing tables in the restrooms. As Mothers,
we realize that our children are God's precious gifts to us. God has blessed us with children to fulfill his Will. We realize our primary job is to promote and to teach our children the value of God's
love. In order to feed our children spiritually, we must be fed ourselves. Moments for Moms provides affirmation, support, information and spiritual development for the women of SS.
