Bereavement

The SS Peter and Paul Bereavement Ministry involves people who experience the loss of a loved one. Our mission is to provide assistance to those who are grieving by offering help before, during and after the funeral services. We know there are many details that have to be considered and we wish to be of assistance to those who need us.

Booster Club

The Booster Club was re-formed after the end of Bingo. This group consists of school and parish families coming together for fellowship and fun during various events throughout the year. One event of the year designated by the club generously supports our Annual Fund Drive. Other events like our Crazy Bowl Night, Chicken & Beer Dance, Octoberfest and many more lend a special time for us to make new friends and come together as a parish family community

Marriage Encounter

Marriage Encounter is dedicated to the principle that strong Catholic marriages make strong Catholic families that enrich our church. Founded in Spain in the late 1960's, it is a weekend experience starting Friday night and ending Sunday afternoon. It deals mostly with communication. Presented by three married couples and a priest, whose presentations are of their own relationships and experience. It encourages couples to share privately various aspects of their relationship. Methods of sharing and listening from the heart are put forth. Endorsed by our parish priests, many other couples and our Holy Father, Marriage Encounter has been shown to positively influence couples relationships on many fronts even decades after the weekend. The best testimony is to ask the children of an encountered couple.

The nursery is located in the Church basement and is held during the 10:30 Mass. We provide daycare for children whose parents are attending Mass.

We are always looking for volunteers. Two workers are needed during the Mass. We can always use donations of tissues, wipes, books, color books, paper and toys.

Picnic Committee

This organization oversees the planning and scheduling of the entire annual parish homecoming. The homecoming is one of the largest fundraisers for the parish. There are many volunteers needed to pull off an endeavor of this size from people to build and take down stands, work booths and clean up. All help is greatly appreciated. Please call, get involved and have some fun, too.
