Jubilee Year 2025 | Pilgrims of Hope

Every 25 years, the Universal Church proclaims a jubilee year, following the ancient Jewish tradition of marking a holy year “to re-establish a proper relationship with God, with one another, and with all of creation, and involved the forgiveness of debts, the return of misappropriated land, and a fallow period for the fields,” according to the Vatican.

The jubilee year is often marked by special opportunities for prayer, study, pilgrimage, and other events to celebrate God’s love and mercy in new ways. The theme for the 2025 Jubilee Year is “Pilgrims of Hope,” and officially opens during the pope’s Mass on Christmas Eve. We hope you will join us for a variety of events and opportunities to walk as “Pilgrims of Hope,” in a world that needs the light of Christ throughout this Jubilee Year!
