Mass Schedule

Mass is the common name for the Eucharistic liturgy of the Catholic Church. Also referred to as Eucharist, Celebration of the Liturgy, Eucharistic celebration, Sacrifice of the Mass or The Lord’s Supper. The primary way in which we celebrate the Lord’s Day is with our participation in the Sunday Eucharist. What better way to celebrate the Resurrection of the Lord than by celebration of the memorial of his Passion, death, and Resurrection? This celebration is not a solitary, private event. Instead, we come together as the People of God, the Church, to worship with one heart and one voice.

Liturgy of the Hours

The Liturgy of the Hours is the official prayer of the Church. It ensures that the faithful are sanctifying the whole day by praying at morning, daytime, evening, and night. Priests, deacons, and consecrated religious are bound by their promise or vow to pray the Liturgy of the Hours daily, but the lay faithful are invited to pray it as well. It is a beautiful opportunity to pray for and with the Universal Church!

It is our practice to recite Morning Prayer from the Liturgy of the Hours in combination with the celebration of Daily Mass on days when the school children are not present. The prayers for Morning Prayer can be found in the “Shorter Christian Prayer” books located at the entrances to the church.
